MSA About Us
History
Milnerton Shooting Association is
one of the oldest Shooting Associations in the Western Cape Province
of
South Africa, starting, way back in 1970, as the Thumbuster's Club for
Black Powder,
on a range in Hout Bay. Almost fourty years later
MSA is now affiliated with the Western Cape Shooting Union
(WCSU)
and currently uses the South African Defence Forces (S.A.D.F)
Good Hope Shooting Range
(De Goede Hoop Skietbaan) located near
Atlantis, about 50 km from central Cape Town.

Our Events
We meet for formal and informal shooting events on the Atlantis
military range every Saturday at 9 A.M.
Visitors are most welcomed. Please read "Range Rules" section for more information.
Our formal competative shoots are held on the second Saturday of each
month.
Informal shooting is discouraged during this one day each month to allow the club to concentrate it's resources on the
organized competative shoots while they are in progress. Contact us for details.
